A senior rock rebel with French roots and a German heart, known as "The Time Traveler," delivering smooth yet edgy rock seasoned with worldly wisdom and nostalgia.

Before hitting the stage, René was a true wanderer. Traveling in a Volkswagen van, he crisscrossed India, East and South Africa, and spent years in the French West Indies, letting diverse cultures and Caribbean rhythms seep into his soul. Returning to Germany, he fronted his own rock band on medium-sized stages before stripping his sound down to a raw Country/Americana duo.

For the past 12 years, the road has brought him to Tenerife in the Canary Islands. Here, he has reinvented himself as a solo artist and producer.

Performing in Hotels, Music Clubs and Open Airs on Tenerife and Gran Canaria islands, working from his own recording studio in Santa Catalina, René constantly pushes boundaries to explore new sounds.

His music is a journey through time—a blend of global adventures and lived stories, served with a dash of rebellion.

Today, That's René operates as a completely independent powerhouse, organically racking up mainly in Spain, Germany over 400,000 streams annually, with more than 50 released Singles, EP and LP's and thousands of followers worldwide.
